I have worked closely with a distinctly male population since my university days within the context of a Christian Higher Education environment in the areas of Student Development and Spiritual Formation.

In college and seminary I served in men's residence halls providing spiritual care and leadership to my peers. I then worked as a Residence Director in a men’s dormitory for seven years at Asbury University. In my role as Director of Community Formation at Asbury Theological Seminary, I gave concerted attention to mentoring men and led recovery initiatives for sexual wholeness. Overall, I have spent over 30 years working with men individually and in groups. I share this statistic only to inform the scope and longitude of my career working with this unique population. These years of face to face, whether mentoring, building teams or leading formation groups, have provided me a unique vantage in assisting men in becoming their best selves.

I do not come to this initiative as someone who has completely arrived, but as someone who enjoys walking alongside other men in their own discovery, healing and transformation.

Contact me if you are interested in obtaining an abridged vitae detailing my professional and educational credentials in Counseling, Christian Spirituality, and Adult Formation.
